Alexander D. Lamm

Alexander D. Lamm is a Senior Associate with SSG Capital Advisors and has more than a decade of transaction experience. Alex is a trusted advisor to public and private companies, equity sponsors, and lenders as they navigate highly complex special situations scenarios. Drawing on extensive transactional exposure across industry verticals, Alex develops high-value, creative solutions that maximize outcomes for SSG clients.

In his role at SSG, Alex works closely with SSG’s senior bankers, clients and buyers, advising on a wide range of special situation transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, recapitalizations, private placements and special situation engagements of both senior and subordinated debt and equity. Alex is responsible for effectuating transaction processes, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing sophisticated valuation and financial models, performing market and buyer research, and devising capital structure strategies that align with the unique needs of each client. Alex also manages and mentors our analyst team and junior staff.

Prior to joining SSG, Alex was an Analyst for Patriot Financial Partners, a community bank and financial services-focused private equity firm. Alex supported Patriot’s investment team by building financial models, completing due diligence for new investments and monitoring portfolio companies. Previously, Alex worked as an Analyst at Artemis Holdings Group and Corporate Advisory Solutions.

Alex is actively involved in the Turnaround Management Association and serves on the advisory committee for the TMA Philadelphia/Wilmington NextGen chapter. He received the Global M&A Network’s Americas Rising Star Dealmakers Award in 2023 and the M&A Advisor’s 12th Annual Emerging Leaders Award in 2021.
