The Parking Spot (“TPS”), provides airport parking and reservation services through 46 locations in the United States. It offers airport parking shuttles; covered, open-air, and valet parking; check-in and check-out; luggage assistance; airport parking reservations; free parking with the spot club; car care services, including car washes and oil changes; and other services.

Situation

TPS’s owner was evaluating strategic alternatives and required an assessment of the value of the management company of TPS to complete a transaction.

Solution

SSG was retained by TPS’s owner to complete a comprehensive valuation analysis to determine an estimated enterprise value of its management company. Operating within a compressed timeframe, SSG was able to complete a thorough due diligence review and prepare a detailed valuation report within two weeks of being engaged. With the valuation analysis complete, TPS’s owner had the ability to consummate a transaction and properly account for allocations across multiple funds.
