Precision Components Corporation, a manufacturer of sophisticated nuclear waste receptacles, in order to focus on its main business, chose to divest DC Fabricators, a manufacturer of heat exchange units utilized on nuclear submarines.
Situation
DC Fabricators was coming off a transitional year and the sale would ultimately be reviewed by the United States Government due to national security issues.
Solution
SSG identified several buyers, both foreign and domestic, and ultimately DC Fabricators was sold to a private equity group who supported DC Fabricators management on the transaction.
