Azon Reprographics (“Azon” or the “Company”), is a leading converter and distributor of specialty coated media, papers, films and other substrates for the worldwide reprographics and imaging industries and was a part of InteliCoat Technologies (“InteliCoat”). Azon Reprographics had 5 strategically located distribution centers that enabled it to service a large customer base throughout the United States.
Situation
InteliCoat determined that the reprographics distribution business was no longer a core operating asset and decided to divest it as a going concern.
Solution
SSG was retained to facilitate the divestiture of Azon Reprographics for InteliCoat. SSG assisted InteliCoat in completing transaction involving the sale of its Reprographics business to a strategic investor. The transaction closed in January 2005.
