Situation
Atlantic Security was in need of working capital and acquisition financing that would enable it to continue its aggressive growth strategy by acquiring security companies within its existing geographic markets, and by expanding into new markets, in addition to continuing to expand its business through impressive internal growth.
Solution
In April 1998, SSG assisted the Company in securing a $36.25 million financing package that included a revolving credit facility, senior term loan and convertible preferred stock replacing a $7.5 million credit facility, in place, at the time of the transaction.
