Ansonia Copper & Brass (‘Ansonia’ or the ‘Company’), headquartered in Ansonia, Connecticut, is one of the leading producers of copper alloy rod and large diameter seamless tubing in the United States. Since the Company’s inception in 1845, the Company has distinguished itself as a fully integrated brass mill producing a select variety of high value added copper alloy product shapes, sizes and tempers. The Company’s products are primarily used by the areospace/defense, industrial, machine tool, power generation/utilities, telecommunications and transportation industries.
Situation
The Company retained SSG to recapitalize its balance sheet in order to refinance existing indebtedness and secure liquidity to fund growth opportunities.
Solution
SSG delivered a financing package from Del Mar Asset Management, L.P., a hedge fund lending source, that provided sufficient availability for the Company’s refinancing needs.
